just a quick one! our internet is finally back online after 3 days. boy you really miss it when it's gone! phone line still isnt working though.....not sure how you can one without the other...
ive just had to pay for a new windscreen :( i noticed a crack which doubled in size in the space of a couple of hours, even though my car was parked up. grrr. lucky ive been careful with money this month.
and i had planned to do concentrated scrapping, but my photos from snapfish havent turned up yet.
on the plus side, i can finally stick all my cds on our new hard drive and update my little green ipod!!
so ive just done this LO based on the All About Eve prompt and Pencil Lines no 42 sketch. I used PP from American Crafts, Kelly Panacci and MME, as well as flowers from MME and chipboard letters from K&CO.

Marcus got some more ink yesterday! for those not in the know, 'ink' means tattooing. Something we both love. this session was colouring in some previous outlines. only 4 more sessions to go!!
And what about this crazy weather eh? it took us 2 hours to get home from town as so many roads had been closed, and we had to wade through knee high water too! pretty scary stuff! Poor old Zeus, didnt get fed or watered last night, and looked pretty miffed when we finally got in!

so i got some brill new stash bits through the post yesterday, including this page kit from scrapping angels and these stamps from clever cut. I cant wait to get using them!
Crazy person that i am, i cycled to Asda as it was such a glorious day! it's only about a mile down the road but im not much of a bike person, so by the time id gone all of 200 yards my legs wanted to get off and go home! when i got there i decided to treat myself to a new book, got a drink and came all the way home! aren't i good! and i then proceeded to read said book on my fold out chair outside :) well i couldn't waste that sunshine!
Last night was a girly night with my mum and my sister. We had pizza and watched Harry Potter at the cinema. It was a really good night, so nice to do something without trailing menfolk behind us! The film was pretty good too, although as an adaptation they left a tonne of stuff out. the casting was really good too. Imelda Staunton plays Professor Umbridge, a character who believes everything she does is for the good of the wizards. the thing is, she always wears pink and has an office full of plates with cats on, even though she's plainly nuts! very good :) There was also a trailer for the new adaptation of Hairspray with chrisopher walken and john travolta in; it looks amazing!! i want to see it next week!

this (terribly photographed) scrapbook layout was done using a challenge from the blog all about eve and revolved around scrapbooking your age. i used some fabby Amy Butler K&Co paper as well as some lovely SEI bling brads. see the 'eve's' for more ideas :)
whilst perusing the blog of the lovely Shimelle , i spotted her new is class up. i am very tempted. i like what this lady does and for $15 with a 'care package' you cant go far wrong!!!!
hi, this is the first post of my new blog :) i'll use it as a rant outlet, a place to talk about cool music, scrapbooking, books.....whatever comes to mind. Please bear with me though as we may experience technical difficulties; and by technical i mean i will probably make loads of mistakes!!
